Do I need puppetry experience to take Writing for Puppetry?
Not at all!
This course is for the total beginner who is just getting into puppetry and the experienced puppeteer.
Both will take away plenty of new ideas and perspectives from this course.
How long does it take to complete?
The total video material is 30 minutes long in 3 modules. Each module has short n' sweet exercises to get you writing.
There is also bonus material like puppetry videos, books to read, and worksheets. I like to keep it simple and concise, and I give you actionable steps to take.
Can the skills be applied to other forms of writing?
Absolutely.
I created this course from basic storytelling principles that I've learned and I apply my knowledge of writing, performing, and making puppet films over my ten years in puppetry.
Does this course apply to screenwriting and writing puppet tv/film scripts?

Will this course get me to complete my show or script?
That's up to you! I can't make you do anything, but most students have come out with fresh ideas, completed stories, or even went on to become performers themselves.
